Wall pops from Lowe's

Thanks to Candy I was totally enabled to buy and use these....LOVE THEM!!! Talk about addicitive.....THe cricut vinyl can be costly and cause of that I was hesitant to try it out on my cricut, but whe Candy shared with us that Lowe's had their wall pops, which are pretty much the same thing, on clearance, I went and loaded up on assorted colors....lol

I was able to get mine for $1, they was ringing up for $3, but since they are considered border it was suppose to be $1 and they honored.....so thankful.

This is the negative cut and I believe I will hold onto it, cause if I ever make it to M's I want to get some glass etching and use these negative cuts for that purpose...great stencil, I'm such a packrat...lol....not too bad, cause DH won't allow it!!
More negative cuts,saved for stenciling.

This was put on the wall next to my craft table, cause DH isn't too wild about sharing this awesome technique throughout the house....yet....lol....The cricut cuts them so well...very detailed cuts....LOVE IT!!!

Hanna

Hanna is the newest member to our family....We had discussed getting our oldest son a dog, "one day", since he's got CP, we had decided the best choice would be a lab.....Well "one day" came when DH decided to go to the local animal shelter and found Hanna....she a mix, but you can tell she's already a smart girl...very precious!!

I planned on waiting a bit, but as you can see DH had other plans...lol...The boys are slowly taking to her. Jimmy will be the one to come around to her last, cause he's skittish of animals, but already he calls her to him and shows love towards her. One of the first things he said when DH first brought her home was, "Momma can her go to Church with us."....lol...so precious!!

Hanna sitting with David and daddy in the livingroom {the one place I said NO ANIMAL would sit...lol}
David petting his new buddy!!

Jimmy and Hanna, getting aquainted.

Precious Hanna....WELCOME!!!!

Souffle and Glaze pens

I've got to share my opinion on these pens........THEY ROCK!!!...I bought these last year and used the souffle, kinda an embossed image is what it leaves, the glazed, leaves a glazed image...imagine that...lol...I used them for cards @ Christmas time last year and really liked them, but I recently found myself reaching for them to dot edges of cricut die cuts and writing....thye write so smooth and are so colorful, they really add an extra flare to items...Love them!!!!
I purchased mine @ hobby lobby, near the chalks ect. in scrapbooking section {of course...lol} I used a 40% off coupon for one pack and my awesome Mom used a coupon on the other pack....gotta love her!!
I thought I'd share...they are well worth the money, now that I've started putting them to use...lol...TFL

Children's B-day cards

This is a first for me....making cards for little ones....also the first time I paper pieced with the Mickey & friends cricut cart...very challenging and addictive!!...TFL Mickey & friends cart for minnie mouse, stickled, zoobaloo cartridge for the sentiment with shadow feature, lots of inking, the cuttlebug folder is from the new combo dies set {candles embossed}, I like it, but it cuts the paper, maybe the paper I used was too cheap...weird

This is for the boy...he's turning 1...as you can see I kept them both pretty simple.....they was fun to make though...TFL

I used new arrival cart for the airplane and the banner, souffle pens for the dotted edges, inking, cuttlebug folder for embossing and signo white pen for the sentiment

TFL....Have a blessed day!!

Christmas cards

These are the first few of like A MILLION cards I need to get made for Christmas....lol

I'm planning on doing some Jesus themed ones, but I can't picture in my mind exactly what I want to do....I think and procrastinate too much, when it comes to scrappin and card making...lol Christmas cheer cart used for the sentiment, elmers glitter glue for the tree, asst. ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder and lots of fun inking...TFL
Christmas cheer cart for the sentiment with the shadow feature, cuttlebug die for the embossed tree, cut out then inked, cuttlebug embossing folder and lots more inking...lol...TFL

This was my 1st official cricut expressions creation....Christmas cheer for sentiment with shadow feature, also used CC for the trees, cuttlebug folder for the embossing, cuttlebug die for the star, it's stickled, I used deco art, snow writer for the fake snow on the tree....lots of assorted inking....TFL

Christmas card post office

I was blessed this year, to be put in charge of the Christmas cards post office, at our Church, this year....It's pretty simple....the couple that was in charge before had a really neat program, a file system, sorted by last name...I just have to sort and put in correct folder....We donate 20 cents, per card, for the Jamaica fund...I did a little 12x12 sign for the door to the mail room and then I turned an old ice cream bucket into a place to put the donations....TFL....I love my Church so very much!!
Used the Jasmine cart, with the shadow feature....TFL
"Pine Eden, Mail room" was Jasmine cart with stickles added...Christmas cheer was used for the trees and the gift packages...It's hard to see but I put a nativity scene sticker on CS and then inked the edges, in the center...TFL

I used printing 101 cart for everything you see here and used the shadow feature on my AWESOME cricut Expressions...lol...TFL

My first creations with the E

I used the alphalicious cart for the crown cut, inked the edges and used my glaze pens for the dotted accents...very simple, but they turned out really cute.
I used an assortment of colors for the glaze pens, for the dotted edges

These are some crowns I made for my SS class...I put their memory verse on them, course before class was dismissed they had torn the tops off of them, well only a few did that....they was so fun to make, especially when you can cut so many at once!!!
TFL....Have a blessed day!!

Black Friday / Merry Christmas

After working in retail for 17yrs and having to be on the recieving end EVERY YEAR, for black Friday, it's safe to say...I'm NOT a black Friday shopper....lol

I hinted to DH about WM having the Cricut E on sale on BF, but I didn't want to deal with the crowds, nor did I expect DH to.....plus it's not like I really had to have it, what with the economy the way it is.....so I kinda let it go....DH didn't....lol...God love him!!

I talked myself out of it, cause he asked me to go get it and it would be my Christmas, since he was clueless as to what to get me.

I felt good about my decision and then the morning of BF came and DH woke me up, getting dressed @ 6 a.m....I asked him what he was doing and he said if you're not going to get it then I will....I knew he was determined, so I told him I'd go.

I didn't get there till 7:30!! Walked the entire perimeter of the doorbuster items...3 aisles and nothing!! I thought well the Lord is telling me that it isn't ment for me to have it yet....I was making a walk back through the aisles and almost to the end when I seen off to a side aisel...away from all the other pallets, the CRICUT pallet!! 1 Expressions left!! I didn't even hesitate....lol

Thank you Jesus and thank you DH....God is so good........I love this E....it rocks!!!
